Ascendant HR will also keep you informed of all payroll tax changes from federal, state, and local jurisdictions. If you are an employer in multiple states, you realize that payroll tax requirements and rates are different in each. Ascendant HR can relieve the burden that comes from being a multiple state employer by processing all state returns and assisting in the setup of new accounts as the employer grows into more states.

- State Withholding/Unemployment Account Setup Assistance
- Annual federal unemployment tax return (Form 940 or 940EZ)
- Employer's quarterly payroll tax return (Form 941)
- Wage and Tax Statements (Form W-2) -Copies to the employee, the Social Security Administration, the States Worked in
- Wages Summary (Form W-3) is sent to the IRS, Ascendant HR will make sure this form is reconciled to both the Quarterly 941s and Wage and Tax Statements (Form W-2)
